Appearance, Function and Applications What paint can I use? – You can use any paint, which will give you a variety of finishes. How many coats will it typically take to finish them well? – Varilight recommend 3 coats for emulsion, which can be applied by brush or roller, and at least 1 coat for spray paint. Will these conform to British Standards? – All our products conform to the BSEN Standards. Can I remove the paint once painted – if so how? – You can’t remove the paint unless you’re confident in sanding it off with sandpaper or similar, but you can over-paint the plate if you decide to change your wall colour. Do I still get a warranty once painted? – Warranty is for the working parts of the accessories, but not on the finish that has been applied. What colour do they come unfinished? – They are a slightly creamy off white when they’re unfinished. ………………………………………….. The rocker switch is rectangular and protrudes with a central fulcrum, push the 45 amp rocker switch downwards to turn on, and push up the 45 amp rocker switch to turn off, an audible click will occur when turning on/off the switch. The neon indicator light illuminates when switch is on. The switch is red in colour. ………………………………………….. Our 45 Amp rocker switches are suitable for controlling applications that require up to 45 Amps of switching, e.g. cooker hobs, cookers and water heaters. ………………………………………….. Limitations This switch is not waterproof. If this product is needed for external use please buy the following items IP66 Wall Box and if needed, a Spacer. ………………………………………….. Cleaning This product can be easily cleaned with a soft dry micro-fibre cloth. Never apply masking tape or other similar tape to the product. Avoid the use of any cleaning chemicals and always use a Gasket on freshly plastered, painted or damp walls as the plates may tarnish. (Plaster can take up to 6 months to dry out). A Gasket can be made from the packaging the product comes in, or a plastic bag can be cut to stop the plate touching the plaster.
