Appearance, Function and Applications The cooker rocker switch is rectangular and protrudes, whereas the socket’s switch protrudes less, push the 45 amp rocker switch downwards to turn on, and push up the 45 amp rocker switch to turn off. Both with a central fulcrum, press the bottom of the socket rocker switch to turn on, and the top of the socket rocker switch to turn off, an audible click will occur when turning on/off the switches. Both switches are red in colour. The neon indicator light illuminates when switch is on. ………………………………………….. Our 45 Amp rocker switches are suitable for controlling applications that require up to 45 Amps of switching, e.g. cooker hobs, cookers and water heaters. ………………………………………….. Cleaning This product can be easily cleaned with a soft dry micro-fibre cloth. Never apply masking tape or other similar tape to the product. Avoid the use of any cleaning chemicals and always use a Gasket on freshly plastered, painted or damp walls as the plates may tarnish. (Plaster can take up to 6 months to dry out). A Gasket can be made from the packaging the product comes in, or a plastic bag can be cut to stop the plate touching the plaster.
