Appearance, Function and Applications There are 2 optimised USB sockets on the plate, this version has unswitched plug sockets which accepts British plugs. ………………………………………….. The USB port detects the device to be charged and optimises its output accordingly to achieve the fastest possible charging speed. ………………………………………….. Limitations This Socket is not waterproof. If this product is needed for external use please buy the following items IP66 Wall Box and if needed, a Spacer. ………………………………………….. Cleaning This product can be easily cleaned with a soft dry micro-fibre cloth. Never apply masking tape or other similar tape to the product. Avoid the use of any cleaning chemicals and always use a Gasket on freshly plastered, painted or damp walls as the plates may tarnish. (Plaster can take up to 6 months to dry out). A Gasket can be made from the packaging the product comes in, or a plastic bag can be cut to stop the plate touching the plaster.
